Day 3.

I'm home now.  Did you think I was going to forget to blog?  Quite frankly, today's late night, rather boring blog is brought to you by a miracle.

When I woke up this morning, the schedule for the day looked like this:

7:45-9:00- do school
9:00- leave for chapel
9:30-10:30- participate in chapel
10:30-12:00- drive to, and shop at, warehouse club
12:00-12:45- eat and have school
12:15- Chloe get picked up for babysitting
12:45- take Camilla and Carson to soccer
1:40-2:40 Coralynn speech class
3:00-4;00- Coralynn ballet
3:30- pick up Camilla and Carson from soccer
4:15- drop off friend after soccer
4:30- drop off Carson and Coralynn at home
4:45- take Camilla to dance
5:00-9:00 Youth Group

Ok.  Not terrible.

Instead it went like this:

7:45-9:00- do school
9:00- leave for chapel
9:30-10:30- participate in chapel
10:30-12:00- pick up sick neighbor from school, pick up her mom from Spanish class, and take them both home
12:00-12:45- eat and have school
12:15- Chloe get picked up for babysitting
12:45- take Camilla and Carson to soccer
1:40-2:40 Get scary phone call from Camilla
3:00-4;00- Coralynn ballet
3:30- pick up Camilla and Carson from soccer
4:15- drop off friend after soccer
4:30- drop off Carson and Coralynn at home
4:45- take Camilla to dance
5:00-9:00 Youth Group

It's that's second change in plans that required the miracle.

As I was pulling out of the neighborhood to take Coralynn to speech, my phone range.  I picked up to hear a teary Camilla tell me that she had been stung by a bee.  She wanted to know whether or not to take the benadryl she carries with her.  **Important note.  Camilla carries an epi-pen at all times because of a bee sting allergy.**  I asked her how she was feeling, and she told me that it just really hurt and itched.  I told her I was on my way.

When I got there, the sting area was raised and swollen, but it was definitely not as bad as the reaction that earned her the epi-pen.  I told her to take some benadryl and to rest for a minute.  She complied.  15 minutes later, she was back to soccer practice and all was well.  The end.

No harm.  No foul.  Except I think it took a year off my life.
